NWS Deep Weather App National Weather Service App. The Santa Cruz mountains are in Fire Weather Zone 512.

Monitor Fire Activity
Watch Duty: www.watchduty.org or download app Realtime, vetted, information on fires and evacuations. Recommend registering for Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties.
PulsePoint: www.Pulsepoint.org – download the app and follow CZU (Santa Cruz County Fire), Boulder Creek, plus other local FD’s. Recommend filtering out medical incidents (go to ‘preferences’ and de-select medical incidents) to reduce clutter. Note that PulsePoint often shows the reporting address as the incident location – so if someone on Favre Ridge calls in column of smoke in Lost Valley, the location may show Favre Ridge instead of Lost Valley.
